[1.33.1][QNX6] After the dust has settled...
Sometime shortly after 1.33.1 has been released it is my intention to make a patch kit available for QNX developers containing the files that did not quite make it into the release. I will also offer pre-built libraries for use on cross-development systems. The intention is to engage more QNX developers with a view to getting QNX6 adoped as an officially supported platform on the next release (presumably 1.34.0). Questions - 1. Does anyone have any comments about and/or objections to the above? 2. May I request a link under "Unofficial branch sites" to my web page? 3. Who is currently responsible for the Boost website? 4. Do I have permission to display the Boost logo on my pages? Thanks Jim Douglas

Technically, everybody/nobody :(. Rene is currently doing some work on its design, though.

Last time I tried to do something similar (I think it was with qnx 6.3.0 using a home-made cross-gcc 3.4), copying linux platform configurations, there were problems with cstddef definitions that were not correct. Is this true or I was wrong? I changed some headers by hand just to continue but I'm happy there is going to be some official help (with QCC I suppose)

Nice. QNX is a good embedded platform that has a lot of GNU utilities. Good work!

We have incorporated a number of changes to overcome the difficulties. The fist patch will be for QNX 6.3.0 using the gcc 3.3.5 compiler and Dinkum libraries. I will continue to sort out the few residual problems thrown up by using the GNU libs, and then look at either the gcc 2.95.3 compiler or possibly tackle the issue of cross development and/or platforms other than x86. It all depends on demand, and hopefully I will be able to gauge that from visitors to the website.
